It will be designed to promote an exemplary model of holistic living that promotes the dignity, freedom, and wellness of all residents.
Many elements make The Village a unique experience for senior living and care. A distinctive factor is the value we have placed on the well-being of the whole person and the desire to provide space to continue daily activities such as stopping by the café for coffee, having dinner with family in the restaurant, enjoying arts and hobbies, or attending an exercise class at the pool. This is made possible by the creation of an intergenerational commons area that is like no other in the state of South Dakota!

- Maintaining an “industry facing” connection to local and statewide businesses and employers whose future workforce will need to possess STEM skills and knowledge.
- Providing an opportunity for local and statewide space related businesses to showcase their services or products in the Learning Center exhibition space.

All-Season Outdoor Classroom
Challenger Park, adjacent to the Challenger Learning Center of South Dakota, will be the location of the MARK II Voyager scaled solar system.
This educational model includes 13 stanchions or learning points across 25-acres of preserved virgin prairie.
There will only be 100 models installed in the entire world! We are very fortunate to have one of them right here at Harmony Hill Watertown.

The all-season outdoor classroom focuses on wildlife conservation, and the activities of outdoor life that brings families together and inspires tourists to visit, fish, hunt, and camp in the great outdoors of South Dakota!
